By using Geo Guard Pro, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and keep your team safe.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information (name, email, phone number, company name)
  • Profile photos (optional, for facial recognition check-in)
  • Incident reports, notes, and photos uploaded by guards
  • Support inquiries and communication history

2.2 Collected Automatically

  • GPS location – active shifts or check-ins only, never outside working hours
  • Device information – Device ID, OS version, app version, battery level
  • Checkpoint scans – timestamps and locations of QR/NFC scans
  • Usage data – features used, login times, session duration

2.3 From Third Parties

  • Payroll integrations (if enabled) – employee IDs and shift data only
  • Emergency services – location shared with 911/API partner only when panic button is activated

Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary for legal or operational reasons.

GPS location logs 12 months (for incident evidence)
Check-in / out records 7 years (payroll & legal compliance)
Facial recognition templates Deleted immediately after check-in (not stored)
Incident reports 7 years
Deleted accounts 30 days, then permanently erased

We share data only in these limited, clearly defined circumstances.

  • Your Employer / CompanyThey own the shift data and location logs.
  • Clients (if you are a contractor)Proof-of-service reports only.
  • Payroll ProvidersTimesheet data only - never location history.
  • Emergency ServicesLocation shared only when panic button is activated.
  • Legal AuthoritiesOnly when required by law or court order.

Role-based permissions. Only supervisors and admins see location history.

Mock GPS and rooted/jailbroken devices are automatically flagged.
